Sustainable Development

The SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT Policy defined by SINAPAK imposes:

To make sure the products we manufacture comply with current regulations regarding correct use, labelling and disposal;
To act in compliance with ethics and legality, consequently we firmly believe in the principle of fair competition;
To respect the rights of all human beings as individuals, diversity, customs and values by which the company operates;
To commit ourselves to maintaining fair and respectful working conditions;
To manage efficient production plants that safeguard the safety of workers and the surrounding environment; hence our commitment to applying the principle of sustainability: no unnecessary risk to human health or the environment;
To communicate in an open and transparent manner with our collaborators at all levels, maintaining an open, transparent and constructive dialogue;
To ask our suppliers to constantly maintain a behaviour in line with our ethical principles.

By strictly adhering to these standards, we will always be able to avoid (by minimising them) legal and economic risks.

SINAPAK therefore undertakes to renounce any business based on the violation of any laws or regulations in force.

SINAPAK's corporate objective is the protection of the environment and the health and safety of all workers as well as everyone who comes into direct or indirect contact with its products.

Sinapak, getting greener and greener

Since 2011 SINAPAK has been equipped with a photovoltaic system for the production of renewable energy with a power output of 110.40 kWp. This allows us to cover most of the company’s energy needs while significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions and consequently our impact on the environment.

This system represents an annual saving of about 35 tons of Oil by producing over 121,500 kWh of “clean” energy.

This investment means considerable savings for SINAPAK linked to the supply of electricity and also means that the surrounding area has to absorb approximately 60 tons less of harmful carbon dioxide emissions per year, thus contributing to the idea of quality living in the Oltrepò Pavese region.

This investment is in addition to those already made by SINAPAK in previous years concerning:

the installation of various systems for the abatement and recovery of dust deriving from production cycles before it can be released into the atmosphere.
the policy of separate collection and recovery of all paper, cardboard, plastic and cellophane packaging used in industrial processes
certified disposal of contaminated and toxic waste.

All these actions confirm the implementation of an environmental protection policy in keeping with SINAPAK’s values.

For SINAPAK, environmental protection is closely associated with a policy oriented towards the quality of its products, through the application of strict safety standards in the workplace.
