Safety, Health and Environment Policy

The various work cycles carried out in SINAPAK do not include chemical reaction processes defined as hazardous.

An essential part of SINAPAK’s business operations is the protection and safeguarding of the health of its workers and the population and environment of the area in which its production facilities are located.

SINAPAK is committed to pursuing:

  • Safety in the production departments;
  • Safety in the individual production cycles;
  • Safety in every management process;
  • Safety in the storage, transport and handling of active and inert substances.

 

With reference to these basic principles, the company implements a Safety & Environment Management system that refers to the following guidelines:

  • Scrupulous compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing safety, prevention and the environment;
  • Consideration of risk prevention as a fundamental element which the Company must pursue, in the workplace and in all processing stages, for the safety of its workers, external parties and the environment;
  • Pursuance of continuous improvement for risk control, through the constant use of suitable available production and organisational technologies;
  • Information, education and training of internal and external personnel (visitors, maintenance contract workers, etc.), in order to make them aware of the need to maintain correct behaviours concerning environmental protection, safety and health;
  • Protection of the integrity, health and well-being of workers in the workplace represents the most important requirement to be respected in organising work activities;
  • Preservation of natural resources by minimising polluting emission and also optimising the handling of waste produced by promoting, whenever possible, recycling and/or reuse.
