Browsing data

During normal operation, the computer systems and software procedures employed in the running of this website gather some personal data the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected with a view to associating it with identified Data subjects but, due to its nature, it may make it possible to identify users by way of processing and association with data held by third parties. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers utilised by the users when connecting to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (OK, error, etc.) and other parameters concerning the user’s operating system and computer environment.

RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENT OF THE DATA

The personal data provided will be disclosed to recipients, who will process the data in their capacity as Processors (art. 28 GDPR), as natural persons acting under the authority of the Controller and the Processor (art. 29 GDPR) or as independent Controllers, for the purposes set out above. Specifically, the data will be disclosed to:

– parties who provide services to manage the website (webmaster), the IT system and the telecommunications networks used by the Controller;

– firms or companies in the context of support and consultancy services;

– the competent authorities for the purposes of complying with legal obligations and/or public authority measures, upon request.

The list of Processors is kept up to date and is available at the Controller’s premises.

 

TRANSFER OF DATA TO A THIRD COUNTRY AND/OR AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION AND GUARANTEES

The personal data provided will be transferred to countries outside of the EU/EEA. The servers connected to the website are located in Switzerland, a country regarded by the European Commission as adequate with regard to transferring data, in accordance with art. 45, par. 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

 

NATURE OF DATA PROVISION

With the exception of the observations above concerning browsing data, required to allow users to browse the website, users are free to provide their personal data, by filling out the contact forms or sending a message to the e-mail addresses provided on this website.

Provision of data for the purpose of signing up to the newsletter (category D) is optional. Failure to provide the data will make it impossible to receive newsletters from the Controller.

 

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT | COMPLAINTS TO THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

You can exercise your rights as set out in articles 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 by contacting the Controller using the contact details provided above.

In particular, you have the right to obtain access to your personal data at any time by contacting the Controller, to request information on the processing of your data, to obtain the rectification or erasure of your personal data, or to restrict or object to their processing. Furthermore, in the cases provided for, you have the right to withdraw consent previously given without compromising the lawfulness of the processing performed on the basis of that consent prior to its withdrawal.

You have the right to request the portability of your personal data, in which case the Controller will provide you with the personal data that concerns you in a structured, commonly used, and machine readable format. If you believe that the personal data processing performed by the Controller breaches the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority – Italian Data Protection Authority (https://www.garanteprivacy.it/), as provided for in art. 77 of that Regulation, or to bring proceedings before the relevant legal authorities (art. 79 of the Regulation).

 

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

The controller reserves the right to change, update, add or remove sections of this privacy policy at its discretion and at any time. The Data subject is responsible for periodically checking for any changes. With a view to facilitating that check, the date of last update will be indicated in the privacy policy.
